Acting Workshops (3rd-6th Grade)
August 15th-November 28th
This will be an experience your child will never forget! Not only will they learn, but also they will have a blast while doing it! Your student will receive training on a variety of workshop topics in a super-fun classroom atmosphere, where they will dive into hands-on experience in green screen acting, teleprompters, creative stage makeup, costuming, news casting, musical theater, stage combat, audition and cold reading techniques, script writing, and more! Impact is offering these unique, diverse and immersive workshop opportunities that you won’t find anywhere else.
Impact instructors strive to bolster the confidence and craft of young leaders by exposing them to all aspects of stage and screen acting. Whether an experienced actor, aspiring actor, stage technician, or if you simply desire to conquer the nerves of speaking in front of an audience, this class promises to be a hit for anyone participating. TEACHER: Benjamyn Toler has a Masters in Performance Studies from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and was a member of the inaugural Apprentice Class of 2013 for the Aurora Theater in Lawrenceville, GA.
Ben is a recurring member of the Classic Players specializing in Shakespearean performance to recent professional productions with the Aurora Theater and the Stage Door Players. Currently, he teaches theater and music arts as well as directs the in-house productions for the Artios Academies of Johns Creek with students winning several major competitions and attaining auditions for reputable collegiate theater programs.
