Sharon discovered her love of music at the age of eight years old when, encouraged by her mother, she began to take piano lessons. She attended Csehy Summer School of Music while in high school, where she was inspired to pursue music in college. Sharon attended the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega where she earned her B.A. in Music, concentration in piano. Throughout her high school, college, and present years, Sharon has been an active church musician. She currently serves on the worship team and in the choir at Perimeter Church. In high school she volunteered monthly at an International Student Retreat center, using her gifts to serve others in music. In the summer of 2016, Sharon enjoyed the opportunity to briefly teach piano to high school students in Belarus. She has been teaching piano since she was in high school. In fact, when she was in kindergarten and asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” she answered, “Teacher!”
Sharon is a fan of journaling, walking, reading, spending time with her husband, Bryan, and playing with their sweet Vizsla puppy, Cooper. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and eating great food.
