Our design is to get kids up and playing to contemporary music thus teaching them how to play with other accompaniment as soon as possible. They in turn find the learning fun and worth the time spent practicing which will then support their interest to going deeper in the art.
EACH STUDENT HAS THEIR OWN PIANO IN CLASS, and will spend time each week reviewing (previous weeks learnings) and preparing for the upcoming ‘at home’ assignments. All students are expected to practice during the week, with book guidance and assignments to prepare for the following week. Students will need to purchase their own piano books (Impact will direct you in the correct purchase).
Group classes are a huge hit as it introduces students to piano in a fun atmosphere with peers, allowing interaction and discussions. It’s also economically the best way for parents to ‘test the waters’ with their child’s piano interest without a significant cost.
Prerequisites:
Must have an electronic piano or keyboard for practing at home.
Classes do have weekly practicing work that must be done at home.
